Privacy Policy

All Things NIL (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use allthingsnil.com and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account information. Name, email address, password (stored in hashed form by our auth provider), role (athlete, parent, brand, etc.), and profile details you provide.
Profile and N.I.L. Page content. Photos, videos, bios, school, sport, social links, and other materials you upload for your public or private profile.
Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive billing status, customer IDs, and subscription metadata—not full card numbers.
Usage data. Log data, device/browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and interactions with features such as messaging, opportunities, and events.
Communications. Messages you send through the platform and emails we send to you.
Referral and affiliate data. If you arrive via an affiliate link, our affiliate partner (Rewardful) may set cookies to attribute referrals. See Section 6.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Create and display your account and N.I.L. Page.
- Process subscriptions and manage CONNECT Pro access.
- Facilitate messaging, applications, bookings, and directory features.
- Send transactional emails (welcome, verification, billing, security).
- Monitor for fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.
3. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Service (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud, Stripe, email delivery, hosting).
- Other users when you publish a public profile, apply to opportunities, message users, or RSVP to events.
- Affiliate partners through Rewardful when you subscribe after clicking an affiliate link (limited to attribution data required for commissions).
- Legal and safety when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Public profiles
Information you place on your N.I.L. Page or public directory listing may be visible to anyone on the internet. Do not post sensitive personal information you do not want to be public.
5. Data retention
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal and operational requirements.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and affiliate attribution. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Your choices and rights
You may:
- Update profile information in account settings.
- Manage email preferences where offered.
- Cancel paid subscriptions through billing settings or Stripe.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law (for example, in California or the EU). We will honor valid requests as required by law.
10. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party sites (Hudl, YouTube, social networks, professional websites, etc.). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
11. International users
We operate from the United States. If you access the Service from other regions, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our providers operate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice for material changes when appropriate.
